San Teletone is a rock band originally consists of bassist Bin “Captive Galaxy”, guitarist Henry “Hadeem”, front man Ron “Red Misery”.
With the original trio predominantly raised in Indonesia, stars aligned in 2006 as they started their quest for world domination with their premiere show at The Roxy; to other venues like The Joint, Whisky a Go Go, among others. Meanwhile, their first EP: Gold of Star Fish was released in early 2009.
The second reiteration of the band introduced M.A. Murtaza on bass and Marco Steffiano on drums, along with yet another 2009 released EP: Cosmic Angel in Dark Blue. The four-some played local venues all over California and garnered a cult following.
By cult, we mean, not more than one person type of fan base.
Flight of the Conchords, anyone?
13-years running, a handful of singles later, Red Misery is still on a lone quest to carry on the SAN TELETONE flag as they perform reunion shows joined by various musicians; including primary citizens: Hadeem, Taza, and their original drummer, Vic.
More music, videos, and merch will be produced during this revival tour, recorded and produced solo by Red in his home studio, A.K.A. his grandma's garage.
As if he is exclaiming, "Don't give up. Chase your dreams."
